Carlisle United are delighted to announce that midfielder Harrison Neal has joined the club on a permanent deal.
The 22-year-old joins the Blues from Premier League side Sheffield United and has signed a contract until the summer of 2026.
Neal came through the ranks at Bramall Lane and has excelled during a number of loan spells, the first of which came with Kettering Town in the 2021/22 campaign.
His performances with The Poppies drew admiring glances from higher up the pyramid and he subsequently joined National League outfit Southend United on a temporary basis - playing 22 times at Roots Hall.
He spent last season with Barrow, playing a key role for the Bluebirds as he racked-up 52 appearances in all competitions.
Stevenage came calling in the summer and Neal spent the first half of this campaign with Steve Evans’ side, where he featured 11 times.
We'll have more from Harrison on club channels soon.
The deal remains subject to the clearance of all necessary paperwork.
