Carlisle United can confirm that the three players who were involved in an incident in the city centre over the Easter weekend have been disciplined by the club.
Manager Paul Simpson said: “The three players were suspended for a week while we made our enquiries.
“We take these matters very seriously and they have been punished in line with the PFA's maximum punishments possible for this type of breach.
“They all admitted what they did was a mistake and was wrong, and apologised to staff, players and fans.
“The players are now back in training and part of the group, its behind us and we are all looking forward."
