COMMUNITY: Soccer schools

Carlisle United Community Sports Trust have provided a number of soccer school sessions in recent weeks.

Anton Dudik, Gabe Breeze, Dylan McGeouch, Tomas Holy and Taylor Charters visited different events going on within the local area.

The club's Community Sports Trust organised a range of soccer school events across various locations, during the Easter holidays.

Speaking at Friday's soccer school in Carlisle, Gabe Breeze said: "It's always great to visit events like this, which have been organised very well by the Community Sports Trust.

"We would've enjoyed coming to things like this when we're younger to play football and meet new friends and now it's brilliant to be able put a smile on everyone's faces by popping in to visit."

Community Manager James Tose added: “Our Easter soccer, gymnastics & dance camps have been a brilliant success with over 500 kids from Carlisle, Maryport, Penrith & Wigton taking advantage of the services we provide to the local and wider community.

"A big thank you to all the first team players who came along to show their support to the kids by giving out all the prizes at the presentations.

"It really is appreciated and helps cement the connection between the club and the community.”
