United were down in Rochdale for their latest youth alliance league fixture this morning.
Robbie Swinburn and Freddie O'Donoghue gave United a two-goal lead heading into half-time, but the home side rallied after the break to make sure they took a point.
"We were magnificent in the first-half, but we let it slide after the break," youth boss Mark Birch said. "It was one of those chalk and cheese performances, with plenty of lessons to be taken from it."
