The red card shown to keeper coach Dave Timmins at the end of the Peterborough home game last week will not be contested, manager Paul Simpson confirmed today.
“We’ve had to accept the charge, because we have no evidence to support what we’re saying,” he said. “Unfortunately it’s our word against three officials, and I’d expect their officials will get favour.
“We have to just accept it, we’ve accepted the charge and there will be a hearing. I don’t know when it is, but we’ll take it from there.”
