BIMSON: Partner says thank you to club staff

It must have been written in the stars that when the club’s main shirt sponsor Bimson Haulage ordered a brand-new red truck it would coincide with United announcing that they’d be wearing the red away strip for their Wembley play-off final at the weekend.

And, having seen how hard the club staff have worked this week on ticket sales and planning for Sunday, the club’s partners sent the truck along this morning as part of a thank you for the efforts, and as a rallying call ahead of the big weekend.

“We are so proud of the whole Carlisle United team, all supporters and local community for the atmosphere we are feeling in the build up to the League Two play-off final at Wembley!” John Bimson said.

“Our staff and colleagues are feeling the buzz and we wish the team and Simmo all the best of luck for Sunday! Up the Blues!”

Commercial manager Debbie Huddart said: “The staff and a host of volunteers have been working extremely long hours to make sure everybody has their Wembley tickets, and it’s always nice when that’s recognised, particularly by one of our main club partners.

“Thank you to Bimson for coming along today and for making the staff feel so appreciated. It really does mean a lot.”
