United hosted Shrewsbury on Friday afternoon with the young Blues looking to get back to winning ways.
But it ended up as a game that could have gone either way, with both teams looking for a winner after the goals had been scored.
Robbie Swinburn opened the scoring on the day, but a sloppy goal was conceded as the Shrews looked to bite back.
Nic Bollado restored the slender advantage, but another error opened the door for the away team to level things up once more.
"We come away feeling pleased, because the lads never gave it up, but we're not happy with the way we conceded," youth boss Mark Birch said.
"It was like basketball at the end as everybody pushed onwards, but the draw was probably the fair result."
More details to follow.
