A fantastic addition to the match day experience for the club last season was the opening of The Kingmoor Park Legends Lounge - an executive match day private bar which was offered for use by businesses and associates at every home game.
Launched in November, and sponsored by Kingmoor Park, it now provides a limited number of executive ticket holders with exclusive use of the private staffed bar, and plenty of space to sit and socialise in comfort before kick-off, where guests are then able to take their seat alongside other members in the stand above, on the west side of the stadium.
Neil McIntyre, managing director of Kingmoor Park, said: “Having worked with the club to launch the bar last season the feedback and response has been brilliant.
“The initiative has provided another match day option for businesses and fans that support the club and the positive engagement with both current and former players was a big part of the feel-good factor in what was a superb season.
“We can’t wait to see more legends return this coming season as we get behind the current team and their League One campaign.”
Commercial manager Debbie Huddart said: “Kingmoor Park and Neil have been fantastic to work with on this project.
“The conversion of the Legends Bar into The Kingmoor Park Legends Lounge captured the imagination, with guests impressed by the décor, layout and intimate way in which they got to meet each other and some of the special guests we had along the way.
“Once again we have to thank Dan Maclennan and the Cumbrians.net/Unita Fortior for allowing the design of their giant flag to be used as part of the graphics features within the lounge.
“We had an excellent first season in the lounge, with many new businesses joining us in there who had never been to the stadium before.
“Following the positive experience they had with us we were then able to discuss sponsorship opportunities, from ground boards to match day packages, and many have become huge fans of Carlisle United.
“We’re looking forward to adding to the experience even more as we head into our League One campaign this time round.”
