With season ticket sales currently at 2,274 ahead of United’s 2023/24 League One campaign (finished on 2,200 last season) chief executive Nigel Clibbens spoke about the figures as we head into the second week of general sales.
“I think we’re all really pleased with the uptake,” he said. “We’ve only been going with general sales for about a week, and we’ve already surpassed last year’s total, which is really good.
“We all know that times are tight, so to get people to commit to any kind of spending is very valued. We really appreciate it.
“It’s still really early doors, we haven’t signed any new players, so we’re yet to get into the truly exciting bit of the season, starting with the fixtures this week.
“So, we’re really encouraged, and we can’t wait to have everybody back."
