The Carlisle United Community Sports Trust are excited to announce the launch of our Emerging Talent Centre trials for U12, U14 and U16 girls.
With weekly training sessions delivered by our FA and UEFA qualified coaches, the girls will have the opportunity to play against other top professional clubs.
CST manager James Tose said: “Everybody connected with the Community Sports Trust is absolutely delighted to be given the opportunity to run the Emerging Talent Centre (ETC) for girls in North Cumbria.
“We are looking forward to delivering good quality coaching to girls at U12, U14 and U16 age levels as we look to develop into the best footballers they can be.
“At Carlisle United we are very passionate about giving girls the same opportunities as boys and the ETC will hopefully help girls in this area be able to achieve their goals and aspirations in football.
“We have recently launched our Female Football Development Scholarship for girls aged between 16 and 19, so alongside the ETC we have now created a pathway for 10-year-old upwards, to the age of 19.
“The future is exciting for female footballers in Cumbria, and we’re thrilled to that we’re playing a major part in that.”
