The draw was probably the fair result on Saturday morning as both sides played their part in a competitive fixture.
U16 player Trent Chapman gave the young Blues the lead with just over 20 minutes left to go, but the home side levelled things up on 83 minutes.
"That was a good game and credit to both teams for the way they approached it," youth boss Mark Birch said.
"We took the lead, but they got back on terms with a horrible goal from our point of view. We're actually not sure what happened, it maybe took a deflection, but I don't think we can really complain overall.
"The draw was probably the fair result."
