United were back at home with a game against Accrington Stanley on Saturday morning.
A team that included two under-16 players in the starting eleven played extremely well, with an excellent tempo to what was an exciting game to watch.
Mason Hardy netted a hat-trick, and could have scored more, and Aran Fitzpatrick and Robbie Swinburne added another two to the home tally.
Youth boss Mark Birch said: "That was a really pleasing performance.
"It was one of those games where everything came together and we deserved the result.
"The work rate was there from start to finish, and everybody did their jobs well.
"With a few players missing, as well as the under-16s we brought an under-15 on as a substitute, but none of them looked out of place.
"Standards were high and we got the goals to go with it, which is always a good outcome."
