Chairman Tom Piatak and members of the first team squad paid a visit to Jigsaw Hospice on Wednesday afternoon to bring some early Christmas cheer to the staff and children with a delivery of presents and gifts courtesy of donations made by United’s players and Smyths Toys in Kingstown.
The Chairman was joined by Gabe Breeze, Ryan Edmondson, Jordan Gibson and Luke Plange as they went along to make the delivery and meet children and staff.
Chairman Tom Piatak said: "This was my first visit up to Jigsaw and it was really interesting to hear about the work they do.
"The staff are fantastic and you can tell they make a real difference to the lives of the young people they work with.
"It was great to be able to go in with the players and take up some gifts which hopefully gave everyone a bit of a lift."
Midfielder Jordan Gibson said: "It was nice to be able to bring some gifts along and you could tell that the children were really pleased to see us.
"The lads all love coming up here and we’d like to thank Jigsaw for making us feel so welcome once again.”
