United's youth team kicked off their league campaign with a home game against Wrexham on Saturday afternoon.
And it was a convincing victory courtesy of a Romeo Park hat-trick, and supporting goals from Aran Fitzpatrick and Robbie Swinburn.
"All of the pre-season hard work paid off for us", youth boss Mark Birch said. "The lads played very well and they got their goals to go with the performance.
"We all come away feeling very pleased."
