Our referee for this game is Mr Marc Edwards.
Marc has taken charge of one game so far this season showing four yellow cards and no reds.
We met him for the first time in September 2019 when we beat Oldham at Brunton Park courtesy of a goal in the third minute from Olufela Olomola. There were no Carlisle bookings on the day.
He was here again in December that same year for our 0-0 draw with Grimsby. As with his previous visit, no home names were taken.
Our 3-1 EFL Trophy win over the Villa under-21 side was his next visit to Cumbria. Micah Obiero, Gime Toure and Gav Reilly scored our goals, with Obiero also receiving a yellow card. Danny Devine was another who went in the book on the night.
He was up in Cumbria in May 2021 for the final game of the season against Walsall. No bookings and no goals made it an easy post-match referee's report to write.
We saw him on our own patch in March 2022 when he was in charge for our 2-0 victory over Rochdale. Omari Patrick netted before the break, and Tobi Sho-Silva rounded things off late in the day. Jack Armer and Jordan Gibson went in the book on the night.
Marc was the man in the middle for the 1-0 home win over Gillingham in August 2022. Jon Mellsh scored the goal and Jordan Gibson was the only Carlisle taken on the day.
He was here for our 2-0 home victory over Grimsby in March 2023. Alfie McCalmont and Jordan Gibson scored in the first half, and Paul Huntington's was the only name taken.
