United boss Paul Simpson revealed at his pre-match press conference that midfielder Owen Moxon could be a doubt this weekend with him having missed training on Thursday due to an illness bug.
“He had his dead leg from the weekend, but there’s another issue which has come with Mox in that he’s had a sickness bug as well,” he explained. “He hasn’t come in and trained today [Thursday] but he was due to train, so I’m expecting the dead leg to have recovered.
“We’ve just got to see if he gets over this sickness bug. We just hope he recovers and is able to stop being sick, and get enough food into him to have some energy. We’ll assess that one on Friday morning and may even have to wait until Saturday on that.
“If he’s got any chance of being involved he’ll be travelling.”
“There are a couple of other things from the game the other night that I’m not going to name names on,” he continued. “We’ve got two days before the game as we speak now, so hopefully they’ll recover in time, but if not we’ve got others who are willing to step in.
“Hunts is fine, no problem at all, he’s trained. Fin Back will be available again, Callum Guy after having 45 minutes, he was left out after tonsillitis, he will be back into it.
“I thought Ben Barclay did a really good job the other night, Jack Robinson showed he’s got energy to get up and down the line and Jack Ellis has shown he can compete at this level. We’ve got players who can come in, we just need to wait and see how they all are.”
