Carlisle United Football Club are delighted to announce the arrival of Crystal Palace forward Luke Plange on a half-season loan deal this morning.
The 20-year-old started life in the Arsenal academy and caught the eye as he progressed through the age groups, scoring regularly at every level.
He made his debut for the under-18 side at the tender age of just 15, and his performances earned him a call from Derby County, where he was invited for a trial.
The signing of a permanent deal with the Rams catapulted him to first-team action and he made his debut from the bench against Bristol City in December 2021.
His first start came in the very next fixture, and he netted the only goal in a crucial victory over Blackpool.
His introduction by Wayne Rooney had everything, and he was nominated for the Championship Player of the Month award for December as he continued to impress. He scored four times in 27 appearances for the Rams.
The forward Signed for Palace for a reported £1m fee in January 2022, but was immediately loaned back to the Pride Park outfit.
He moved to RWD Molenbeek in Belgium on in August 2022 before making another loan move to Lincoln City in January 2023.
