NORTHAMPTON: Ticket Donation Scheme (TDS) launched

As manager Paul Simpson has repeated many times since taking over, there’s just one thing that matters at the moment, and that’s doing everything we can to make sure this club stays in the Football League.

He’s asked for positivity, and you’ve responded, and together we’re going to do #WHATEVERITTAKES as we get behind Paul, his staff and players through the remaining home games.

We’ve targeted the visit of Northampton - Simmo’s first Saturday home game in charge - to show that without any doubt we’re all backing the Blues every step of the way!

Prices have been slashed and we’re looking for another huge crowd - over 10,000 of you came along to our last big match promotion fixture against MK Dons - so let’s aim to beat that.

Cut-price ticket entry across all age groups is the order of the day, with huge savings to be made on normal match day prices - and there will be NO price increase on the day of the game!

We want as many people as possible to be able to come next Saturday and we’re calling on fans and businesses to help us by taking part in our ticket donation scheme.

This is a fantastic way for individuals or companies to help to get young people or local groups involved by purchasing and donating tickets, to allow them to attend the fixture.

You can buy any amount of tickets for the community group or school of your choice, and we will make sure everybody knows about your generosity!

United’s chief executive Nigel Clibbens said: “The ticket donation scheme is a critical part of making the game a success. We need your help. Every ticket donated will be special to the person receiving it.

“Our first big ticket promotion, the #8kforMK game, was a huge success, but Coronavirus has intervened since then. There is no reason why we can’t get an even bigger crowd and break through 10,000 fans.

“Things have moved on quickly in the last 10 days. The changes we made, and arrival of Paul Simpson, has got everybody talking again, and that’s fantastic to hear and see.

“The club suddenly feels a totally transformed place, in a way that didn’t seem possible in late February. There is a renewed confidence and optimism, and we all know what a difference our crowd can make when they’re up on their feet.

“We’re hoping everyone will get behind this campaign and come along to enjoy the game on what promises be a day to remember.

“Everybody is saying how brilliant it would be to see Brunton Park full and bouncing again. The manager has talked about how he feels about this club. The team will thrive on the support, so we’re looking forward to seeing everyone on the day.

“The ticket donation scheme proved an absolutely brilliant success last time with hundreds of tickets handed out and I’m sure all those who took part remember it.

“We hope they will get involved again, and that new businesses and fans also hop on board to do their bit.”
