Carlisle manager Paul Simpson is one of four nominations for the Sky Bet League Two November Manager of the Month award.
The Blues have lost just three league games all season and moved into the play-off places following another unbeaten month.
Three games yielded seven goals and five points, which included a stunning 4-1 away victory at Salford, with the team playing some excellent eye-catching football along the way.
"I'm delighted to be nominated for the November award," the gaffer told us. "Credit has to go to all staff, players and supporters for making it a good month for Carlisle United."
The other nominees for the award are:
Lee Bell (Crewe Alexandra)
After stepping up from assistant to interim manager, Bell brought a calmness and clarity as he guided Crewe to successive 1-0 victories over Colchester and Swindon, arresting a seven-game winless run in League Two.
Jon Brady (Northampton Town)
Brady’s side only had two League Two fixtures in November – both away from home – but by winning them, in particular their convincing 3-1 triumph at promotion rivals Bradford, they consolidated their position in the play-off positions.
Johnnie Jackson (Wimbledon)
Having spent so many years at Charlton, it has taken Jackson a while to fully grasp the Wimbledon way, but three unbeaten games, including a win over leaders Orient, seven points and no goals conceded were positive signs of progress.
The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
Winners will be announced on Friday 9 December.
