On 4 July 1990, England were in the semi-final of the world cup - playing West Germany for the chance to get to their first final since 1966.
Paul Parker was in that side.
And now you have the chance to talk to Paul about what it meant to be in that cauldron in Turin.
The year after Paul was transferred from QPR to Manchester United where he played for the next five seasons.
Since then he has been a manager at lower league football with Chelmsford City and Welling United and latterly a pundit, giving him a great understanding of football at every level.
London Branch member Jonathan McLoughlin has arranged for Paul to meet Carlisle fans on Thursday 16 September at 7pm at the Civil Service Club (13-15 Great Scotland Yard, London, SW1A 2HJ).
It promises to be a night to remember.
The event is open to all Carlisle fans and is free of charge, but we would ask that you let us know if you are coming in advance by contacting chairman@carlislelondonbranch.org.
