United played the last of their games in this season's Youth Alliance Cup competition when they travelled to face Morecambe on Saturday morning.
Defeats against Rotherham and Blackpool meant that the youg Blues couldn't progress but they wanted to bow out in style, and that's exactly waht they did despite being reduced to 10 men when Dan Hill was sent off with just 25 minutes played.
Youth boss Mark Birch said: "It was a sloppy start from us but once we settled we played some good stuff.
"We went on to dominate and we took our chances, and we come away feeling pleased overall."
United's goals were socred by Charlie Watt, Dylan Garvey, Sam Fishburn and DJ Taylor.
