Here at Brunton Park we are committed to making the most of our match day and non-match day catering provisions, and we know that we cannot achieve that without the support and involvement of you, our fans.
To help us to constantly develop and improve our new catering activities we will be constantly engaging and asking for feedback – this starts today!
Chief executive Nigel Clibbens said: “We are launching a catering questionnaire as we look for some initial views and feedback from as many fans as possible.
“Please take the time to complete it, if you can, so that your voice is heard as we plan and get ready for the return of supporters to our stadium.
“We are fully committed to making our catering, hospitality and bar facilities better. We want you to enjoy your experience of coming to Brunton Park, and we want to work with as we build up an understanding of what it is that YOU want from both your match day experience and your non-match day visits.
“We need your support to achieve that. We can’t promise to give you everything, but we can promise that we will work hard to give you as much as we possibly can.
“We want to know what is most important to you so that we can target our efforts and work onwards from there.”
The club has been very pleased to be able to work closely with CUOSC (The United Trust) and CUSG (Carlisle United Supporters’ Groups) in formulating the survey.
Chairman of CUSG Simon Clarkson said: “The survey is the chance for fans to have their say and influence the much-needed new direction the club are taking with catering.
“We all want the provision to be better, and this is the first step on that journey.”
CUOSC 1921 board director Jim Mitchell added: “We all want the catering operation at Brunton Park to be as good as it can be and this is an opportunity, as fans, to highlight areas where we feel things can be added or improved.
"We've had good responses to recent questionnaires and with this being a step in a new direction for the club we're hoping for the same again.
"Catering and hospitality are a big part of match day for a lot of fans, and hopefully by engaging positively and constructively with the club we can help to get things right, and as we want them to be."
Click HERE to complete the questionnaire [by 1 June 2021].
The primary focus for this questionnaire is food and light refreshments, but it also covers bars.
We will be asking for your feedback on bar provision in more detail in due course.
Within this questionnaire there are questions ...
- ... about you, so we know how often you visit and where you go
- ... about your use of our catering, hospitality and bars
- ... on your overall view catering, hospitality and bars
- ... which look forward, to help us to understand what is important to you
PLEASE ANSWER BASED ON YOUR MOST RECENT EXPERIENCES UNDER THE PREVIOUS ARRANGEMENTS MANAGED BY ABM CATERING.
PLEASE ALSO COMPLETE EVEN IF YOU DON’T USE THE FACILITIES. WE WANT TO KNOW WHY, AND HOW WE CAN GET YOU BACK.
Your answers will help us benchmark the new in-house catering arrangements, and make changes that you want to see based on your previous experiences with us.
Our intention is to ask these same questions again at the same time next year, to help us to measure the impact of the changes we’ve made.
Every pound of profit will be reinvested in the club.
Spending by fans in the ground on our catering services will benefit the club more than ever before.
Please take this opportunity to work with us – you can help us to improve and be better.
