United were up against the Ammies of Salford on Saturday morning in their penultimate pre-Christmas fixture.
The Blues took the lead through Jack Ellis, and they looked set to take all three points until the hosts bagged a scrappy equaliser with just seconds left to play.
Youth boss Mark Birch said: "It was a good game, we played some good stuff, and we scored a decent goal.
"It was a poor way to concede the equaliser at the end but we take some good things from it."
