It's back to Brunton Park for the second of the Easter fixtures as Scunthorpe come to town.

Scunthorpe always seem to cause United problems, as you can see with them holding the balance of victories over the years.
But those of a certain age will never forget Cumbrian lad Jeff Thorpe coming off the bench back in September 1994 to turn a game on its head with two late goals which took his side to a 3-2 victory ... and unbelievable celebrations in the away end.
Scunthorpe didn't play on the last Saturday in March, due to international call-ups for Newport County, and the enforced break possibly came at just the wrong time with them having enjoyed a solid month of results.
They lost just once in their seven outings last month, winning two and drawing the other four.
That gathering of points eased any lingering fears of being dragged into a relegation battle, and they will now be looking to maintain both the consistency and the climb up the table.
Good Friday saw then draw 0-0 at home with Crawley, in a game that could have gone either way.
Nine goals and six assists from 36 appearances makes big striker Ryan Loft our one to watch.
We know Lofty well from his loan spell with us during the 2019/20 season where he netted six goals in his 35 appearances in a blue shirt.
He's a handful, strong and athletic, and, as can be seen from his assist stats, also likes to bring others into play.

United were at Glanford Park in September 2020 and a first half goal from Jordan Hallam was enough to secure a win for the hosts.

These teams met in August 2019 and it was one of Scunthorpe's summer signings who proved to be the difference - a certain Mr Ryan Loft. he was on-loan from Leicester at the time and he struck bang on the hour mark to make sure the points went back to Cumbria.
