United head to the University of Bolton Stadium tonight, looking to take their unbeaten run to seven games against promotion-chasing Bolton Wanderers.
Speaking ahead of the game, manager Chris Beech said: “Bolton are a massive club and they shouldn’t really be in League Two, but they are.
“They’re doing their best to try and do something about it, but we’ve got a great opportunity to go there and play our game to try to get something.”
“I’m going to try and find some goalscoring boots for the boys so we can try to back up some really solid performances from the last two games with goals and three points,” he added.
“It’s a game I’m really excited about. I want us to do what we’ve done since the first day I came into this job and represent the supporters to the best of our abilities.
“I think we can at a great venue in Bolton. So I’m really looking forward to it. We know the players they have, the threats they bring, and we know they can dominate teams on their day.
“But we also know that if we stick to our traits and work as hard as we have been in recent games, we have every chance of getting what we want from this one.
“It isn’t going to be easy, but no game in this league is. It’s about preparing well, approaching it in the right manner and working hard for the 90 plus minutes.
“It’s the first of the five games we have left and we want to make sure we’ve done everything we can to get the result.”
