Back-to-back league home games for the Blues brought Blackpool to Creighton on Saturday morning.
And the Blues earned themselves a victory courtesy of a first half strike from Jack Ellis and a goal after the break from Keelan Leslie.
Boss Eric Kinder said: "We were poor today and it's something we'll have to address next week.
"Yes, we won, but Blackpool played the better football and created the better chances.
"We were second best in every department and that just isn't good enough.
"We were ahead at the break, and we went ahead again on 75 minutes with Keelan's free kick, and somehow from there we managed to see it out.
"I'm pleased with the score but disappointed with the overall performance."
