Carlisle United are delighted to confirm that North Lakes Energy Group will be our academy shirt sponsors for the 2020/21 campaign, with their distinctive logo appearing once again on the front of playing strips for all age groups from under-9 through to under-16.
The logo also features on the first-team pre and post-match interview backdrops, in recognition of the seven-year partnership, with the group keen to extend their support of our younger players and of the pathway being created from the academy to the professional ranks.
Helen Mclinden, director of North Lakes Energy Group, said: “We are delighted to play our part in helping the academy, in what is our seventh season supporting them with our sponsorship deal.
“It stretches back to the days of Dick Young, who was an ardent believer, like us, that a strong youth policy has to be the backbone of lower league clubs.
“In the last 12 months, with the sales of Jarrad Branthwaite, Liam McCarron and Josh Galloway, who are all products of the youth system at the club, the academy is playing its part in repaying all of the hard work that is put in by the staff at Carlisle United.”
Head of Foundation Phase Robbie Edgar said: “James and Helen have supported the academy for a number of years now and their financial backing has significantly helped us provide playing kits and top quality training equipment for the young players from all age groups.
“The new kits look fantastic and I’m sure there will be lots of smiles on faces when we hand them out before the first fixtures of the season.”
