First-year professional Jamie Armstrong has today joined fellow youth graduates Charlie Barnes, Charlie Birch and Liam Lightfoot on-loan with Kendal Town.
The nippy attack-minded midfielder will remain with the Northern Premier League Division One North West outfit initially until January.
Having signed his first senior deal in the summer Armstrong, 18, can be utilised in a number of attacking roles, or across the middle of the park.
Assistant manager Gav Skelton said: “We said when the other three lads went there, and it’s worth saying again, we know we’re sending Jamie to a club that does things well.
“It’s excellent for Jamie that he’ll be getting the chance to play first team football in a very competitive environment.
“The fact that it’s local means that we’ll be able to keep an eye on how it’s going, and we’ll also see him during the week when he’s back to train with us.”
