Carlisle United are set to face Bradford City in a double-header of fixtures over the course of the coming week as the sides go head-to-head in both the Youth Alliance Cup and the FA Youth Cup.
The final group game of the Youth Alliance competition is on Saturday morning [kick off 12pm at Creighton], but with Morecambe having recorded victories over both teams it’s what can be classed as a ‘dead rubber’ with qualification already secured by the Shrimps.
But it will be all to play for under the lights at Brunton Park just a few days later when the FA Youth Cup second round tie takes place.
The Bantams beat Blackpool in round one, with United securing a thrilling victory over Chester, to set up what is bound to be another all-action game.
