Irving's Coaches, with their depot just half a mile away from Brunton Park, are the definition of a 'local' company, and they have today donated 100 tickets to two of the schools they serve on a daily basis, Caldew Lea Primary School and Brook Street Primary School.
Amy, Rachel and Jenna from Irving's came down to Brunton Park this morning to show their support for the #GoodVibrations ticket initiative, getting involved with our surfboards and other Beech Boys props!
Ewan Wood, from the club, said: "Irving's were really keen to get involved and it was fantastic of them to pop down with one of their coaches.
"They've nominated two primary schools and it's brilliant to see that 100 children will now benefit from this donation. Along with that they'll also get to see the Beech Boys in action against Leyton Orient, and hopefully help to cheer them on to a good result.
"Speaking to people around the area we can tell that the #GoodVibrations initiative has been well received, and all of the Irving's staff who came to the stadium with the bus today were very complimentary about what we're doing.
"We'd all like to thank Irving's for their very kind donation and we look forward to welcoming their young guests on the day."
If your business is interested in getting involved in our ticket donation scheme, please email commercial@carlisleunited.co.uk
You can buy any number of tickets and donate them to a local community group or school of your choice, and we will try and come along to personally deliver the tickets with a first team player!
All donations will be covered on our social media channels.
