We are delighted to announce that we have come up with a fantastic way of showing support for local lad Stan Dalton with a specially designed shirt transfer, available to purchase as part of our kit launch this coming weekend.
Carlisle lad Stan, a bubbly two-year-old, was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in March 2019.
It was then confirmed that treatment for the rare condition was unavailable in the UK following further tests at the RVI in Newcastle.
The Cumbrian community has since rallied round in a bid to get Stan to Singapore, where pioneering and lifesaving treatment can be carried out by doctors who are specialists in the area.
Commercial manager Jenny Anderson said: "I think everybody has seen how brave Stan and his family are being and the amount of money raised so far, just over £400,000 via their Just Giving page and from direct donations, is fantastic.
"We came up with the idea of this optional sleeve transfer, which has a simple design, as a very visible way for our fans to show their support to Stan, should they choose to do so.
"It will be available to purchase from Thursday onwards, with all profits going towards his treatment fund.
"We won't be operating our printing presses this week but, as I say, #SaveOurStan transfers can be purchased and we will apply them at a later date, when the initial part of the new kit launch has been completed."
The #SaveOurStan transfer can be purchased for £5 from the Blues Store - our staff will provide advice on when to return to get the transfer applied to your shirt.
Transfers will NOT be applied this weekend to avoid the build up of queues inside the store.
ALL profits from the sale of #SaveOurStan transfers will go to the #SaveOurStan fund.
Please note - the new EFL and Mind letters and numbers have only just been revealed this week - click HERE for more details of what they will look like.
We do not yet have these items in stock.
Printing of a name and a number is £12, or printing of just a name OR a number is £6. Again, our shop staff will advise on when this facility will be available.
