Striker Sam Fishburn had a day to remember on the Wirral as he smashed all four goals to guide his side to a comfortable win against Tranmere.
Youth boss Eric Kinder said: "I asked Sam to add goals to his game and he's done that for us.
"If I was asked to describe his performance today I'd say he played as a proper centre forward.
"He was a real handful, and he sparked things off for us with a well-hit shot on the spin.
"His second was the best of the bunch because he worked hard to close a defender down and the clearance came off him and ricocheted into the net.
"That's the reward you get if you do things properly.
"His hat-trick was a similar finish to his first, and he rounded it off with another one just for good measure when he slotted the ball under the keeper."
"It was a game we dominated even though they got it back to 3-2 on the stroke of full time," he added. "That was when we struck back with a fourth, and we come away feeling really pleased with an overall very good display."
