We are pleased to confirm that tickets for the Boxing Day home game against Bolton will go on sale at 10am on Thursday 17 December.
Looking back at the last three home fixtures with fans in attendance, chairman Andrew Jenkins said: “It’s been fantastic to have our supporters back with us and for them to be able to watch the team when they are playing so well.
“It is still a strange environment, with the work the club has had to do to remain Covid-19 safe, but everybody has adapted to the new rules and regulations so well and I can’t thank you enough for that.
“Our aim is to get as many of you as possible back into the stadium as quickly as possible and it is particularly frustrating to have this as our next game where we know it would have been a bumper crowd.
“However, having seen the way you responded to our request to wear face coverings, I am confident that we will continue to demonstrate that we are Fan Ready and that we will be ready to increase our capacity as soon as we are told that we can do so.
“Thank you once again for your cooperation and support, and here’s to a very Happy Christmas.”

+ ALL fans who purchase tickets MUST already be on our ticket system. No sales will be made to any fan who has not previously purchased a ticket with us.
+ Tickets will be available in section 3 of the Paddock, sections 3, 4, 14 and 16 of the Warwick Road End, and sections 4 and 8 of the Pioneer Stand.
+ If you are purchasing tickets on behalf of others, you must have their full name, address, and postcode. If you do not have this information you will not be able to purchase a ticket.
+ The preferred option when purchasing tickets is e-ticket to reduce collections on the day of the game. Please provide your email address so we can send the tickets to you. You can also have the tickets posted to you for 85p.
+ Tickets are not available to fans living in Tier 3 areas, or fans living in Scotland, due to current travel restrictions. The relaxation of family bubbles over the Christmas period does NOT extend to travelling from these areas to a Tier 2 area for a football match.
+ There is a maximum of four tickets per transaction available – again, please ensure you have the full details of anyone you are purchasing a ticket for. They must all be on our ticket system.
+ Once you have purchased a ticket, this cannot be transferred or resold. We have to provide correct information for everyone who attends the match as part of our track and trace procedures.
+ There are NO tickets available for Bolton fans.
+ There are NO online or in-person sales for this fixture.
+ Following the review of previous games, face coverings are now MANDATORY in ALL areas of the stadium at ALL times (unless an officially recognised exemption is displayed). This includes when in your seat or in your terraced position during the game.
Telephone sales
Call 0330 094 5930 (option 1) where you will either have your call taken, or you will be placed in a queue (our phone queue has a limited queuing size – please be patient).
Phone ticket sales will open at 10am on Thursday 17 December.
Check your phones – if you have the old 01228 or premium line 0844 ticket office numbers stored – DO NOT use them. You will either be charged a huge amount for your call, with a number that is no longer linked to the club or, if you dial the 01228 number, you will find that our ticket office staff will not be picking it up during this period of sales.
Calls to our official 0330 number are charged at your normal rate.
