United are in Group A of this season's EFL Trophy, and the dates and kick off times for all of the group games have now been confirmed.
The first game of the round-robin format will be held at Brunton Park on Tuesday 1 September, with Fleetwood Town the visitors.
United will then travel to the Stadium of Light to face Sunderland on Tuesday 6 October.
The final group game will be against Aston Villa U21s at Brunton Park on Tuesday 10 November.
