The club and CUSC London Branch have teamed up to stock a special, limited edition brew called '90+5' to commemorate one of the most famous moments in the history of the game.
It will be available in bottles in the main stand bars once again this weekend (while stocks last) as it makes its second appearance for the home game against Crewe this weekend.
The initiative has been led by the London Branch, and its chairman Ian Jardine said: "During the 2018/19 season the London Branch took a lead in celebrating the 20th anniversary of that famous Jimmy Glass goal.
"They firstly produced a t-shirt, closely followed by a very popular pin badge, and we now have this celebration beer.
"Working with Bar 301 at Carlisle Station, and local brewer Oliver Chester in Brampton, it has been possible to create a special, limited edition brew called '90+5'. The alcohol content conveniently, if you use the American dating method, works out at 5.899%, but there might be a discrepancy of 0.001% either way on that one!"
The 500ml bottles is available at Brunton Park for £4 from the Sunset Suite, Sporting Inn and Foxy's restaurant. It is also be possible to purchase bottles from Bar 301 at the station and from The Local on English Street.
10% of sales will be donated to MNDA to carry on the wonderful fund-raising effort which was inspired by the family of club legend and favourite Tony Hopper.
The profits will go back to the London Branch which is committed to reinvesting in Carlisle United, following its long established tradition which continues to see it support many club initiatives and projects.
The club would like to thank the London Branch for their work on this project, and for the assistance of abm Catering and Heineken for their help and support in selling the brew from Brunton Park.
Please raise a glass to Jimmy and Tony this weekend!
