Carlisle United fans will travel over 10,000 miles as they follow the Blues next season with return trips ranging from just 140 miles (Morecambe) all the way up to a whopping 778 miles with the Pilgrims of Plymouth Argyle having suffered the drop back down to League Two following a tough campaign.
A first ever trip to Moor Lane to face National League play-off final winners Salford City is a palatable 232 mile there-and-back hike, and we’ll be off into the capital to renew old acquaintances with Leyton Orient (just the 614 miles, thank you very much) – last season’s National League champions – as they bring an end to their two-year football league exile.
Bradford City [214], Scunthorpe United [322] and Walsall [370] make up the other new faces, but let’s not forget old favourites Crawley Town and Exeter City who test us with very different 694-mile round trips.
Fixture release day is Thursday 20 June – find out where we’ll be going and when right here on the official website from 9am that very day!
Total travelling distance for League Two fixtures (cup games not included) – 10,154 miles.
