The second of United's back-to-back away games was the rearranged trip to Preston on Saturday morning.
A cold morning saw United come away from a game they largely dominated with a draw courtesy of a goal from Charlie Birch.
Youth boss Darren edmondson said: "We played well so the lads will be frustrated that they only got the point.
"Preston scored from their only real chance and we hit the woodwork on two occasions, with other good chances created.
"It was a good performance and we come away feeling pleased with how we approached the game."
More details to follow.
