United created a host of chances yet again but they were made to pay for wayward finishing as the home side bagged three decisive goals - all from headers.
Youth boss Darren Edmondson said: "It's disappointing that we lost having created so many good openings.
"We had 15 attempts compared to seven from them, and Josh Galloway got another good goal for us.
"It was a very good game, but we come away with a lot to be pleased about."
