With just six weeks of the season left play boss Steven Pressley insisted this week that his focus is on results and achieving a top seven finish rather than his own personal situation, with his current contract coming to an end once the last ball has been kicked in May.
“I haven’t sought any assurances,” he confirmed. “I’ll just keep doing my job. I’ll look at players of potential for next year and I’ll do everything expected of me as a manager.
“The board will then make the decision they see is right for this club moving forward.”
“I’m very comfortable with where that is at this moment in time,” he added. “I came into this job in this position, I understand it, I really like the job and the club, and we’ll see what the next couple of weeks or months bring.”
