The Blues will round off their pre-season fixture schedule with a trip to The Global Energy Stadium, Dingwall, to face newly promoted Scottish Championship winners Ross County on Saturday 27 July [kick off 3pm].
The Staggies will be plying their trade in the SPL next season, following their impressive romp to the Championship title, and will provide stiff competition for Steven Pressley and his team as the sides come together for the first time since they met in a Highlands tournament back in the 1960's (Elgin City and Inverness were the other opponents in a round-robin of fixtures in that mini-competition).
It’s a 534-mile round trip into the Highlands for the fans who make the journey and, with the town centre just a five-minute walk from the stadium, there’ll be plenty of new experiences as Carlisle United come to visit.
Full ticket details to follow in due course.
