Carlisle United have today signed attacking midfielder Arthur Gnahoua on a short-term deal which keeps him at Brunton Park until the end of the current campaign.
Gnahoua, 25, of French-Ivorian descent, made his way into the game at a relatively late stage via the non-league route.
He started his career with Stalybridge Celtic in 2010 before joining National League side Macclesfield Town two years later. He scored three goals in 34 appearances at Moss Rose before having short spells with Whitehawk, Colwyn Bay and CF Gava in Spain.
He joined Kidderminster Harriers in the New Year of 2016 and scored 19 goals in 60 appearances, including a wonder strike in the 2016/17 National League North play-off semi-final.
Gnahoua joined the Shrews in the summer of 2017 and made 22 appearances in his first-year with his new club, scoring three times. He agreed to his extend his stay into a second year following what had been a successful campaign.
His latest loan move took him to AFC Fylde where he scored twice in seven appearances, having joined them late in November.
This deal remains subject to the clearance of all relevant paperwork.
Arthur Gnahoua will wear squad number 25.
