Carlisle United Football Club can confirm that striker Elias Sørensen has been recalled from his loan spell by parent club Newcastle United with immediate effect.
The 20-year-old Danish youngster joined the Cumbrians for the season in August and started one league game, making a further seven appearances from the bench and appearing in four cup games.
Under the terms of the deal, the loan could be cut short in January and, following discussions between Newcastle's loan manager Shola Ameobi and Carlisle head coach Chris Beech, Sørensen has now returned to St. James' Park.
Everybody at Carlisle United wishes Elias Sørensen the very best as he returns to the north-east.
