JUNIOR BLUES: Images from an enjoyable half term event

Over 100 of our Junior Blues came along to our half term event in Foxy's Restaurant on Thursday afternoon as they got to meet the players and take part in some rather silly games.

The first activity of the afternoon was a game of pass the parcel ... with a twist. A player in each team had to complete a forefit every time the music stopped, and we saw some 'interesting' dancing from some of the lads, as well as press up competitions!

A game of 'Beat the Bunny' came next, with two balls given to each group and the task of trying to get the 'farmer' to catch the 'bunny'. Anthony Gerrard's group came out on top in this one, with the defender really encouraging his team - not that he's competitive or anything!

The children then took part in a picture quiz of footballer's when they were children, with the real highlights being some excellent images of our very own Danny Grainger, Jamie Devitt and Gary Liddle!

The players then went along to the Sponsors' Lounge so the children could get their autograph books and their very own Junior Blues membership certificate signed.

Each child then got a picture with club captain Danny Grainger, and we'll have a full gallery of those images available to view this afternoon.

We hope all the children enjoyed their day with us!
