Carlisle United can confirm that midfielder Jordan Holt has today rejoined local side Workington AFC on a youth loan deal until 31 December 2018.
Holt, 19, signed his second senior contract ahead of the new season when he committed to the Blues on a six-month contract, keeping him at Brunton Park until the January transfer window.
No stranger to Borough Park, he joined the West Cumbrian side at the end of August last season and received nothing but praise for his committed performances through what developed into a three-month spell.
He was part of the team which embarked on an amazing 17-game unbeaten run in all competitions ahead of the turn of that year. He returned on a half-season deal when the transfer window reopened in January last year and made over 40 appearances through his successful stay.
Workington moved quickly to secure his services again this term, when he joined for an initial month long loan in August, before completing his 93-day period with the Reds yesterday.
The young playmaker came through the United ranks to earn a one-year professional development contract, in May 2017, having made his first team debut in the Checkatrade Trophy group game against Fleetwood Town the previous season.
