Carlisle United will make their second trip of the season to Sincil Bank to face Lincoln City in the second round of this season’s Emirates FA Cup.
The Blues were at the home of the Imps just over a fortnight ago when the sides took a share of the spoils following an all-action first half in their league meeting.
An Ashley Nadesan brace twice gave United the lead, but a long-range strike from Michael O’Connor and a deflected free kick from Bruno Andrade kept the sides level heading into the break.
Lincoln currently sit top of the pile in League Two, but with the Cumbrians enjoying their away days this season it should prove to be another exciting encounter.
Manager John Sheridan said: “As I said on Saturday, ideally every team wants a home tie, but there’s nothing you can do about what happens during the draw.
“We know Lincoln well and they’re top of the division at the moment because they’ve been the most consistent team.
"Having played them a few weeks ago, we know what to expect, but we go there confident that we can match them and progress in the competition.
“Our away form has been good so far this season and we’re looking for that to continue.
"We want to go as far as we can, so it’s a game where we’ll be looking for another positive result.”
Ties due to be played over the weekend of Friday 30 November to Monday 3 December.
Full match details will be confirmed in due course.
