United rounded off their season with a home game against Accrington Stanley at Creighton on Saturday afternoon and a strong performance left them with a convincing victory to celebrate.
Max Cowburn, Luke Lloyd and Sam Adewusi bagged the goals on a day when good chances were created by a confident home side.
Academy boss Darren Edmondson said: "It was a good performance from the lads and they took their chances well.
"They restricted the opposition to just one shot and they played with confidence.
"It was a great way for them to end the season and it's nice for them that they've been on such a good run."
