The FA has worked with partners to ensure the safeguarding framework is as simple as possible to understand and access. The document is designed to demonstrate the work done in the safeguarding field by different organisations in the game to keep children and young people safe, highlight ways to report concerns, and details further work that has been undertaken over the past 12 months. It also gives insight into supporting the work of the police and collaborations with victim and survivor groups as well as work done in the regions to check that the safeguards required for all clubs and leagues with youth teams at the point of affiliation, continued to be in place across the 62,900 youth teams during last season.
