Carlisle United are delighted to confirm that midfielder Jack Egan has today extended his contract until the end of the season.
Egan, 20, came through United's youth ranks and was handed his first professional deal at the end of the 2016/17 season.
He made his debut for the club at the Stadium of Light earlier this season when United faced Sunderland in the Checkatrade Trophy group stages.
He was handed a second short-term contract ahead of this campaign, and has been a regular in the first team squad and on the bench for the Blues this term.
Meanwhile midfielder Jordan Holt will leave Brunton Park when his contract draws to a close at the beginning of next year.
