United's second away game of the week was the trip to face Blackpool down by the seaside on Saturday afternoon.
And they excelled in the sunshine as they romped to a three-goal lead ahead of the break courtesy of a brace from Liam McCarron and a well struck shot from Max Cowburn.
Max Cowburn added to the tally shortly after the restart, as did Luke Lloyd, and Mike Williamson rounded off the scoring to give the young Blues their healthy victory.
Youth coach Gavin Skelton said: "We completely dominated from start to finish. With no disrespect to Blackpool we could have scored more because there was some excellent and dynamic link-up play in the final third.
"It was a very competitive display and we deserved to claim the points and a third straight clean sheet."
