Defender James Brown and keeper Shamal George popped along to the Pirelli football pitches on Wednesday evening for an all-action training session.
The lads played the first half of the session with the Pirelli U10 girls team then switched pitches to play the second half with the Pirelli U12 boys.
As competitive as ever, the biggest cheer of the night came when Shamal was left stranded having been nutmegged by a particularly slick piece of skill, much to the amusement of James Brown.
Speaking after the session, Shamal George said: "The kids were brilliant and we'd like to thank them for inviting us along. It's fantastic to see so many smiles and the children clearly enjoy what they do.
"Credit has to go to the coaches for that and it was really good to come along and see them in action."
"We all enjoy appearances like this," James Brown added. "The children came to watch us on Saturday so it was nice to be able to come along and say hello again today.
"There were some good goals scored and I think they were all pleased to see us. Even when it started raining it didn't stop them from giving it their all, and it was just good to take part."
This visit was organised as part of our Cumberland Community Ticket Scheme.
